New beginnings – a new year, a new job, a new house, a new baby. And while any of these may be a good reason to make a quilt, a baby is the reason that is most likely to lead me to the sewing machine. Over the years I’ve made many baby quilts. The size generally makes them a quick sewing job, and the fabrics and design can be bright and fun.
Here are some baby quilts I’ve made that haven’t been featured in previous posts:
Snug as a Bug – flannel, quilted in a leaf design
Ladybug close-up – she is made from corduroy
Dragonfly Dash – traditional churn dash block, quilted with a dragonfly design
